Negotiated and initiated the fundamental partnership with Solaris SE in 2022, ending a decades-long relationship with Landesbank Berlin and laying the foundation for the modular credit card model the ADAC uses today. This banking partner switch was one of the most significant strategic decisions in the subsidiary's history.
Launched ADAC Pay in early 2021 — the club's first fully digital, smartphone-based payment product, brought to market during the pandemic. Built an extended banking partner network to optimise consumer loans for the shift toward electric mobility. Developed new collaboration and commission models and implemented automated real-time partner reporting.
ADAC Finanzdienste operates within the three-pillar structure of the ADAC as the commercial specialist for financial products. The company designs and bundles products such as the ADAC credit card, vehicle loans, and savings products, manages partnerships with external banks, and creates loyalty incentives — including fuel discounts and integrated travel insurance — that drive long-term member retention. Under his leadership, the subsidiary grew into the second-largest commercial unit within ADAC SE with over €30 million in annual revenue. The broader ADAC SE group generated €1.36 billion in revenue in 2024.
